Effective and last updated: August 31, 2026
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Jian Yang, an individual developer based in Maryland, United States, operating Vehara. By creating an account, purchasing Vehara points or using Vehara, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions may be sent to david_yj@msn.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Third-party sign-in is also subject to the provider’s terms.
3. The Vehara service
Vehara provides personal-seller vehicle preparation, secure report sharing, Dealer discovery, non-binding offers and messages, sale-stage records, and Dealer acquisition workflows. Features may change as the service develops. Vehara is not a government title record, vehicle-history report, insurance policy, inspection, appraisal, emergency service or guarantee of a vehicle’s condition, identity, ownership, safety or value.
4. Your information and public content
You retain ownership of information and files you submit. You grant Vehara a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, display and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the service and follow your sharing settings.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content and for having permission to upload or publish it. Public vehicle pages can be viewed, copied and shared by others. Do not publish confidential data, complete insurance policy numbers, access credentials, payment-card data or information that infringes another person’s rights.
Vehicle History Checks use a VIN saved to a vehicle controlled by the signed-in account. NHTSA decoding reflects manufacturer submissions, and recall results are model-level campaigns that may not apply to the exact vehicle or indicate whether a repair was completed. Results may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable and are not a substitute for title verification, a licensed history report, recall confirmation with NHTSA or a manufacturer, or an independent mechanical inspection. Daily limits, cache periods and included data sources may change as provider terms and service costs change.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Vehara for fraud, deception, unlawful surveillance or illegal activity.
- Misrepresent vehicle identity, ownership, history, condition, insurance or sale information.
- Access another user’s account or nonpublic information without authorization.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass security controls, scrape at abusive volume or introduce malicious code.
- Copy or reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law expressly permits it.
- Use report links or shared pages to impersonate Vehara or direct users to deceptive content.
- Send abusive, threatening, misleading, unlawful or unsolicited commercial messages through a For Sale inquiry.
6. Points, prices and payment
Personal sellers may create and share their own vehicle-sale record without a seller fee. Certain Dealer actions use Vehara service points, and the applicable point cost is shown before the action. Point packages, prices, discounts and taxes are shown before a one-time purchase and may change for future purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. Points are a limited license to use eligible Vehara services; they are not money, stored value, a bank account, an investment, or vehicle-sale funds, and they cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except where required by law or through an approved refund.
A point charge applies only to the stated action and scope. For example, first access to a seller's contact information may be charged separately for each vehicle, while repeat access for the same Dealer and vehicle may be free. Current costs and eligibility rules displayed in the product control over older marketing descriptions. See the Refund Policy for purchase-refund requests.
7. Vehicle connections and third-party services
Vehara may help a vehicle seller and a Dealer exchange information, send non-binding offers and messages, and record communication stages, but Vehara is not the buyer, seller, broker, dealer, escrow agent or payment processor for their vehicle transaction. A displayed offer, acceptance or stage is a communication record and does not itself create a binding sale through Vehara. Vehara does not collect, hold or transfer vehicle-sale funds, determine whether a transaction should occur, set the final price, or negotiate on either party’s behalf. The parties independently verify the vehicle and each other, negotiate all terms, select a lawful payment method, complete contracts and title work, and arrange inspection, pickup or delivery.
Vehara relies on third-party infrastructure, identity, payment, email, security and analytics providers. Their services may be unavailable or changed, and your use of their features may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.
8. SMS notifications and account closure
See our SMS Terms for Vehara SMS purposes, opt-out instructions and support.
Users who enable text-message alerts consent to receive transactional Vehara messages about Dealer offers, messages and appointment updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
You may stop using Vehara at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate misuse, comply with law, address nonpayment or enforce these terms. We may terminate accounts for material or repeated violations. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export or correct information, but urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vehara is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of any public link, compatibility with every device, or the accuracy of owner-provided vehicle information. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vehara and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or opportunities arising from the service. Aggregate liability for claims relating to Vehara will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Vehara during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Governing law and disputes
Maryland law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Maryland, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
12. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the updated terms and revise the effective date, with additional notice for material changes when appropriate. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service.
